Big Bear Mountain Resort's dedicated New Year's Day guide covers Friday, January 1, 2027 across Snow Valley, Snow Summit and Bear Mountain. Snow Valley and Snow Summit publish extended 8:30 AM-8:30 PM lift hours, including Night Sessions from 3:00-8:30 PM, while Bear Mountain publishes 8:30 AM-4:00 PM hours. This is a paid on-snow outing rather than a free spectator festival: skiing or snowboarding requires an eligible 2026/27 season pass or the appropriate date-specific lift product, and access after the day-ticket cutoff requires a Night Session ticket or eligible pass.
