Official Military Skate Veterans Day Event 2026

About this event

Official Military Skate's Veterans Day 2026 fundraiser brings all six U.S. military branches to Vans Off The Wall Skatepark in Huntington Beach for military skateboarding, public open skate and support for Veteran Ink's Ink Fund. The verified Saturday, November 21 program runs 5:00-10:00 PM PST: active-duty members and veterans get the park from 5:00-6:00 PM; a six-branch Game of S.K.A.T.E. runs 6:00-7:00 PM; active-duty and veteran skaters compete in Best Trick from 7:00-8:00 PM; and every ticketed attendee can join open skate from 8:00-10:00 PM. All ages and skill levels are welcome, but the first open-skate hour and both contests are limited to active-duty members and veterans. Live Eventbrite inventory was verified for three tiers: $23.18 total for active-duty/veteran admission with proof of service, $28.52 general admission and $12.51 for children 12 and under; listed face prices are $20, $25 and $10 respectively. Helmets and signed liability waivers are mandatory for anyone skating, with limited helmet rentals available, so bringing a helmet, board and protective gear is strongly recommended. Admission includes free food and refreshments plus a live DJ; skate and military vendors, free flash tattoos from Warhorse Vintage Tattoo and Veteran Ink, and unnamed special pro guests are also announced. Parking is free and first-come at the park, with overflow described only as a nearby Metro lot or across the street. The venue has accessible spectator viewing areas and pathways. Capacity, sellout threshold, walk-up sales, a detailed minor-waiver procedure, weather/cancellation rules and named pro guests are not published; check Eventbrite and the organizer's Instagram before travel. All proceeds benefit Veteran Ink's Ink Fund for veterans seeking tattoo therapy.
