Opening Day at Pico Mountain 2026-27

Pico Mountain kicks off the 2026/27 ski and snowboard season with Opening Day on Friday, December 11, 2026 (conditions permitting) in Killington, Vermont. Join the mountain for its first day of skiing and riding of the winter. The following lifts are expected to operate on Opening Day: the Bonanza Carpet, the Golden Express Quad, and the Summit Express Quad. Opening-day operations are weather- and conditions-dependent, so guests should check the Pico Mountain Report as the date approaches for the most up-to-date lift and terrain status. Lift tickets, ski and snowboard rentals, and season passes are available to make Opening Day the start of the winter, and lodging-plus-lift Ski & Stay packages are offered for those who want to bundle a stay near the mountain.
