About this event
Come cheer on the best youth cross-country skiers in the region! On February 13-14, 2027, Royal Gorge Cross Country hosts a Far West Junior National Qualifier (JNQ) weekend — two high-level races for skiers under 20, held in preparation for U.S. Junior Nationals in 2028. The two-race format features a classic-technique sprint and a classic-technique mass start, both exciting to watch. All races are run on Royal Gorge XC's new race courses and will not impact recreational skiing, so spectators can come out to watch top junior Nordic athletes compete on the trails of Donner Summit.
