Mammoth Mountain opens its 2026/27 Unbound Series with Rail Jam 1 on Sunday, November 29, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The on-snow contest is open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages and skill levels, but every competitor must hold a current USASA membership. Mammoth frames the series as friendly competition with a pathway to the USASA National Championships; each stop includes a medal ceremony and sponsor prizes. The exact course, terrain-park location, check-in, warm-up, start order, division timetable, judging format, entry fee and lift-access arrangement are not yet published. Those operational details, plus start lists, results and any weather delay, will be posted through the official Unbound Series Team App and LiveHeats channels. USASA confirms 2027 season membership is open, but the event itself is not yet listed for entry in the public LiveHeats organizer feed, so TrickBook marks race registration not yet open rather than closed or sold out. Riders should secure USASA membership separately, then wait for the exact event entry before purchasing travel or assuming same-day registration. Main Lodge is the published venue anchor at 10001 Minaret Road. Winter parking is free where signed but fills first come; Mammoth normally runs free Main Lodge parking shuttles and town transit, subject to weather and operations. Approved ski or snowboard equipment, a valid access product if the organizer requires lift access, and compliance with the resort safety code are essential. The listing uses the narrow Mammoth regional exception because this is an official all-ages USASA qualifier at a major Southern California destination mountain, offering competition terrain unavailable in core Los Angeles.

Rail-jam format and judging/scoring details are not yet published for this stop. Official start lists and results will be posted through Team App/LiveHeats.

Mammoth Mountain continues its 2026/27 USASA Unbound Series with Rail Jam 2 on Monday, December 28, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
