About this event

Snow Rangers is Big Bear Mountain Resort's 12-week, non-competitive youth ski and snowboard progression program at Snow Summit for ages 6-17. The 2026-27 program runs on 24 published weekend dates from December 12, 2026 through March 28, 2027. Saturdays are full training days from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, including a supervised 11:30 AM-12:30 PM packed-lunch break; Sundays run from 9:00 AM to noon. Certified instructors coach a consistent group from beginner through advanced level, with no prior experience required, and enrolled students receive priority lift access during lesson times. The $1,950 program fee covers the coaching program only. Terrain access, skis or snowboard, boots, helmet and rentals are not included; every participant must separately hold a valid lift ticket for each session day or a season pass. The current official checkout feed lists separate Ski (product 49) and Snowboard (product 48) options at $1,950 with positive inventory as of September 15, 2026. BBMR offers program add-on Anytime season passes at $150 for ages 6-13 and $200 for ages 14-17. To book, use the calendar on the official Snow Rangers page, select today's date (the picker date does not change the actual session dates), choose Search Dates, add the ski or snowboard program to the cart, and assign each participant during checkout. BBMR recommends securing a spot before the first session but does not publish a hard registration deadline, total capacity or waitlist policy. Purchasers must bring government-issued ID and the original payment method at check-in. Participants drop gear at Adventure Academy and meet their group at the red flag in the adult beginner area. A liability waiver is completed in person on the training day. The exact program is non-refundable, non-transferable and not for resale; BBMR's standard activity change/cancellation policy does not apply. Weather, opening dates, terrain and lift operations can change, and the program page does not publish session-specific make-up or weather-credit terms, so families should check the mountain report and contact BBMR before travel when conditions are uncertain.
