SnowJam San Diego is a three-day indoor preseason ski-and-snowboard expo and equipment sale at the Del Mar Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall. The show brings new and previous-season skis, snowboards, boots, outerwear, resort representatives, and professional boot fitting together under one roof, so visitors can compare gear, get fitted, and take purchases home the same day. General Admission covers the expo and shopping floor. The separate SnowJam Membership also includes admission and unlocks eligible free or discounted lift-ticket vouchers, but members must attend in person, scan the membership at the entrance, and follow each resort’s redemption and blackout rules; buying online alone does not issue the vouchers. The published San Diego offer list includes nearby Southern California resorts such as Mt Baldy, Snow Valley, Bear Mountain, and Snow Summit, which makes the Del Mar show directly useful to Los Angeles-area skiers and snowboarders despite its regional location roughly 100 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. Children 13 and under attend free with a paid adult. Current advance pricing is available through September 30, and the organizer explicitly confirms walk-up sales at the expo.
