Team Bear Intro Camp — Bear Mountain 2027

Team Bear’s Intro Camp is a two-day freestyle ski and snowboard evaluation-and-training camp for new prospects at Bear Mountain on Saturday and Sunday, March 27–28, 2027. It is the only Team Bear camp that athletes who have not already been accepted to the program may request, and the current Big Bear Mountain Resort application includes “Intro Camp” as a live selection. Each day is described as a five-hour camp; the Team Bear training table lists Saturday and Sunday programming from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM with an unsupervised lunch from 11:00 AM to noon. The camp introduces prospective athletes to Team Bear’s coached freestyle program, which supports both snowboarders and freeskiers. Applicants choose Snowboard or Freeski and self-identify as beginner (knows the basics), intermediate (comfortable on blue runs), or advanced (confident on all terrain), then describe the athlete’s riding and freestyle experience for review. Intro Camp athletes must be at least five years old during the camp and must turn six by December 1, 2027 to be eligible to join Team Bear. Submitting the guardian-led application does not guarantee placement; a BBMR representative contacts applicants with next steps. The camp fee, acceptance timeline, capacity, detailed curriculum, coach assignment, equipment inclusions, and payment deadline are not published. A valid 2026/27 season pass or separately purchased day lift tickets are required in addition to the camp fee. Team Bear programming is weather- and conditions-dependent, and purchases are described as non-refundable and non-transferable.
