Kneeboard Surfing USA's 2027 U.S. Kneeboard Surfing Titles and Festival returns to Oceanside Harbor's South Jetty for a welcome/check-in gathering on Thursday, March 11 and the full contest, awards, raffle and surf-video program on Friday, March 12. Competition begins at 7:00 AM Friday. The current first-party announcement publishes Open, Women, Junior, AA, AAA and new friendly Immortals pathways, with four-to-six-person heats lasting 15-20 minutes as conditions allow. AA and AAA are populated from surfers eliminated from the early Open heats. The organizer says online registration opens in mid-November; because no exact launch date or live 2027 checkout is posted, TrickBook marks entry Not Yet Open rather than closed. Published fees are $110 Open, discounted to $95 when registered and paid before February 1, $50 Women including Open, and $85 Immortals. A limited number of Junior entries for surfers under 25 include Open at no charge. Age is determined January 1, 2027, each division needs at least two entrants, and exact Immortals criteria are still TBA. No active 2027 waiver, guardian-consent language, refund/transfer policy, on-site entry promise or registration deadline beyond the early-price cutoff is posted. WSA-accredited judges will use WSA criteria emphasizing commitment, difficulty, progression, major-maneuver combinations, variety, speed, power and flow. Stact is the official live-scoring destination. No produced livestream is planned; KSUSA points remote viewers to the Surfline South Jetty cam and possible Facebook Live clips. The organizer recommends a 3/2 fullsuit for March's roughly 60°F water and warns that surf and weather vary. Harbor Beach has lifeguard coverage, restrooms, showers and mixed free/paid parking, but event-specific accessible viewing, athlete parking, check-in address, awards address and cancellation procedure remain unpublished. The first-party page contains a few stale 2026 labels and one AM/PM typo inside its otherwise 2027-specific packet; TrickBook preserves the confirmed 2027 facts and flags those uncertainties instead of silently carrying prior-year terms forward.
