2026 USA BMX Golden State Nationals
About this event
USA BMX National Series Stop #13 brought three separate days of national-level BMX racing to Metro BMX at the Sam Lynn Ballpark complex in Bakersfield, May 15β17, 2026. The completed weekend included balance-bike, 20-inch age and proficiency classes, Cruiser, Girl/Women Cruiser, Girls Expert, and Expert Open racing. Official results contain 329 daily class-result tables and 3,009 rider-starts across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; that total is not a count of unique competitors. Spectator admission was free. Historical parking was $10 per day or $30 for the weekend, and camping was $125 for the weekend. USA BMX has published complete daily results and official full-race replays for all three days. Metro BMX is roughly 115 road miles from central Los Angeles, making this a regional national-series destination rather than an urban LA event.
At a glance
USA BMX nationals are open to current full or Gold members in eligible classifications; no prior national qualification is required. A trial membership does not qualify a rider for a national. Riders compete at their exact race-day age and proficiency and must satisfy membership and proof-of-age rules.
