About this event

The So-Cal Nationals return to the covered Grand Arena at the Industry Hills Expo Center in the City of Industry, California, February 26-28, 2027, as stop No. 5 of the USA BMX National Series in the American Bicycle Association's 50th-anniversary season. Southern California is the birthplace of BMX, and this national keeps that legacy alive on an indoor, weather-protected dirt track built for big moments β€” with excitement for the LA28 Olympics growing across the region, the weekend spotlights where two wheels and a dream begin. Like every USA BMX national, the three-day weekend is open to current USA BMX members with no prior qualification required, running balance-bike, 20-inch Novice/Intermediate/Expert age classes, Girls Expert, Cruiser and Girl/Women Cruiser, and Expert Open under the USA BMX national rulebook, with points counting toward the 2027 national standings. Spectator admission at recent editions has been free. This is an upcoming event: the dedicated 2027 event hub, online registration, per-class entry fees, the detailed daily practice/race schedule, the broadcast plan, and results are not yet published. Details here are anchored to the official 2027 national schedule announcement and to the venue and format used at the 2026 So-Cal Nationals, which are provided as reference and not as confirmed 2027 specifics. The Industry Hills Expo Center is roughly 22 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, making this the premier national-level BMX race inside the Los Angeles core.
