About this event

CASL Contest #7 brings the California Amateur Skateboard League back to the Vans Off The Wall Skatepark in Huntington Beach on Saturday and Sunday, September 19-20, 2026. CASL — billed as “the Little League of skateboarding” — has run monthly amateur contests across California for more than 30 years, welcoming boys and girls of all ages and skill levels. This is Round 7 of the 2026 SoCal Amateur Skateboard League (SoCASL) series, and results count toward the 2026 SoCASL season rankings. After scheduling changes earlier in the fall, the organizers confirmed the September stop returns to Vans HB (“We are running it back… @vans_hb was gracious to agree to host once again”). Skaters compete in three formats — Street, Park/Mini Ramp, and Bowl/Vert — across age brackets (7 & Under, 8-11, 12-15, and 16 & Over) plus dedicated Girls, Girls Advanced, and Open Advanced divisions, for 21 divisions in all. Liveheats now marks entry closed after the published Saturday, September 19 at 9:30 AM PDT deadline; published pricing was $35.00 for a skater’s first division and $30.00 for each additional division. The contest is presented by Vans with support from Poseidon Foundation, GoPro, Triple Eight, 187 Killer Pads, Bones and Liveheats. Vans Off The Wall Skatepark sits at 7471 Center Ave in Huntington Beach (Orange County), by Bella Terra just off the 405 — one of Southern California’s best-known combi/park/street facilities. CASL’s current contest-weekend announcement now confirms Saturday is transition (Park/Mini Ramp and Bowl/Vert) and Sunday is Street. Exact check-in, heat, finals and awards times remain unpublished. Skaters should confirm those times, any CASL membership requirement for ranking points, and Vans skatepark admission details on the official Liveheats event page and skatecasl.com. Event-day update: Liveheats now marks entry closed, shows 42 division entries across 12 occupied brackets out of 21 published divisions, and says the official livestream is starting soon. The 42 count is a division-entry total rather than a unique-skater count. Saturday transition competition is underway; Sunday remains the Street contest day. No verified results or podiums were published at this check.
