About this event
Kirkwood Mountain Resort hosts an IFSA-sanctioned junior 3* big-mountain freeride competition February 26-28, 2027, organized by Tahoe Freeride. The 3* is a higher-tier junior national-level event: U15 and U19 ski and snowboard athletes are judged over a multi-day window on a demanding natural Sierra venue, with results counting toward the 2027 IFSA Junior Ranking and Junior Seeding List and feeding the FWT-IFSA Qualifier global and 2028 World Championships qualifying seeding lists. It is a competitor event: athletes register through Liveheats during a set window and must hold current IFSA membership and regional dues.
