About this event
Sapwi Bike Park's sixth annual Halloween Jump Jam is a family-friendly pedal-bike fundraiser at the Thousand Oaks skills park on Saturday, October 31, from 9:00 AM to about 1:00 PM. Riders of all ages and skill levels can join games, trick and style activities, and the returning costume contest, with prizes for costumes, big tricks, smooth style and more. Online preregistration costs $15 before BikeReg's service fee ($17.23 total at verification) and closes Friday, October 30 at 7:00 PM Pacific; the organizer flyer also advertises $20 participation at the door. BikeReg has separate 18+ and under-18 choices, each capped at 100 entries. The park will be closed before the event on Saturday morning so volunteers can prepare the lines. A properly rated helmet and a pedal bike in safe working order with at least one brake are required; e-bikes and other motorized devices are prohibited. Spectators must remain outside riding areas, and children require adult supervision. Registration is a nonrefundable donation supporting park maintenance and development, including if weather or another circumstance beyond the committee's control cancels the event. Check the organizer's Instagram before travel for park-condition updates.
