Snow Summit closes its 2026 lift-served mountain-bike season with a final public riding day from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 4. The resort will publish the final chairlift and trail lineup closer to the date; Fall Line, Pirates, and Skyline Trail are already listed as closed off-site trails. Closing-day services include advance and day-of lift tickets, bike and protective-gear rentals, bookable group or private lessons, first-come lockers, bike repair, three dining venues, free upper-lot parking, and a free all-ages Biggie’s Adventure Outpost youth activity from noon to 2:00 PM with no reservation. Snow Summit is LA-relevant because it is one of Southern California’s major purpose-built lift-served gravity parks, roughly 100 miles from central Los Angeles, providing downhill and cross-country terrain unavailable in the urban core.

Snow Summit advertises gravity-fed downhill and cross-country trails for riders of all ages and ability levels. Riding requires a valid Snow Summit MTB lift ticket or eligible pass, an approved bike with at least one working hand brake, a completed summer waiver, and compliance with posted lift/trail restrictions. No qualification, federation license, ranking, invitation, residency, or contest division applies.
