Snow Summit Bike Park Closing Day 2026

Snow Summit closes its 2026 lift-served mountain-bike season with a final public riding day from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on Sunday, October 4. The organizer now confirms Chairs 1, 2 and 4 plus ten on-site trails—10-Ply, Average Joe’s, Blue Steel, Going Green, Miracle Mile, Party Wave, the STACYC Course, Small Wonder, Turtle Trail and Westridge—and three off-site routes: Towne Trail, Bristlecone and Fern Trail. The closing-day program also includes the final free Biggie’s Adventure Outpost youth activity from noon to 2:00 PM (all ages, no reservation) and free Coca-Cola deck music by Dog’s Breakfast from noon to 1:00 PM and The Hellbombs from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Lift tickets remain available online and at the window; valid passes, a completed 2026 summer waiver and an approved bike with a working hand brake are required for lift access. Rentals, final-season group/private lessons, first-come lockers, Adventure Academy repair service, Basecamp activities, hiking and the Scenic Sky Chair are scheduled during posted operations, subject to availability and conditions. Ironwood Coffee opens at 8:30 AM, Bighorn Smokehouse at 10:30 AM, and Skyline Taphouse from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Free upper-lot parking is first come and tailgating is prohibited. Snow Summit is LA-relevant as one of Southern California’s major purpose-built lift-served gravity parks, roughly 100 road miles from central Los Angeles.

Snow Summit advertises gravity-fed downhill and cross-country trails for riders of all ages and ability levels. Riding requires a valid Snow Summit MTB lift ticket or eligible pass, an approved bike with at least one working hand brake, a completed summer waiver, and compliance with posted lift/trail restrictions. No qualification, federation license, ranking, invitation, residency, or contest division applies.
