Valley Series #1 was the May 30, 2026 opening round of Snow Valley Bike Park’s two-stop 2026 downhill mountain-bike race series in Running Springs, California (the October 24 finale is the companion Valley Series #2). The single-day race carried a headline pro purse of $5,000 / $2,500 / $1,000 for the top three in both Open Men and Open Women — roughly $17,000 total and famously richer than that same weekend’s UCI World Cup winner’s check. Racing was contested in the same 16 age-group and Open categories used across the series, on Snow Valley’s technical lift-served downhill trails, with results timed and published live on Race Roster. Registration and packet pickup ran 8:00–10:30 AM, the chairlift opened at 9:00 AM with practice until noon, the course closed at 12 PM, the downhill race began at 12:30 PM, and awards followed at 3:00 PM, with live sets from DJ Slipmatt and Eric Roebuck through the day. Nikolas Nestoroff won Open Men and 14-year-old Emerson Ross won Open Women. Snow Valley is included in the Los Angeles regional inventory because it is a purpose-built, lift-served downhill venue roughly 75 miles from central Los Angeles that serves the wider Southern California riding community. The event is completed; the record is preserved for results and history with no active registration call to action.
