SoCal League Race 3: Cachuma 2027

SoCal Youth Cycling League has confirmed Race 3 of Season 19 for March 6–7, 2027 at Cachuma Lake Campground in Santa Barbara County. This is a two-day youth cross-country mountain-bike race weekend for registered middle-school and high-school league riders, with girls’ and boys’ fields from entry-level middle-school categories through high-school varsity. The official race listing currently confirms the weekend, location and status but has not yet published the race flyer, daily field assignments, start waves, course map, GPX files, lap counts, pit map, check-in windows or awards schedule. Season 19 registration is live through LeagueApps. Riders can join a team or participate as an independent rider, but must complete league registration and waivers and then complete the race-specific entry when the organizer opens it. The displayed Free Agent amount is not treated here as the Race 3 fee; the race price, deadline, capacity, waitlist and on-site-registration policy remain unannounced. Cachuma Lake Recreation Area offers camping and day-use facilities, but the race footprint, assigned entrance, team-pit area, event parking charge and any organizer camping block are still TBA. General county information currently lists tent and RV campsites, restrooms and hot showers, campground check-in at 3:00 PM and quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Those are general park policies, not race instructions, and should be rechecked before travel. Swimming and body contact with lake water are prohibited. The separately published Live Oak trail rules prohibit bikes, so visitors must not assume those paths are the race course; use only the organizer’s eventual course and pre-ride windows.
