Summit Series #2 “Best Whip” — Snow Summit 2026

Snow Summit closes its two-part 2026 Summit Series with an all-ages Best Whip mountain-bike competition on Saturday, October 3. Rider registration opens at 10:00 AM, practice runs from 10:00 to 11:30 AM, and the judged event starts at noon. The organizer now publishes four payout divisions - Boys, Girls, Men, and Women - with a combined $5,200 purse: $500/$250/$100 in each youth division and $1,000/$500/$250 in each adult division. Awards are scheduled for 2:30 PM on the Coca-Cola deck. Altitude 7000 performs there from 1:30 to 2:30 PM and again from 3:00 to 4:00 PM. Competition entry remains free and day-of only; no advance rider form is offered. The official listing describes spectating as free for ticket holders, so guests planning lift-served viewing should carry a valid 2026 bike-park season pass, Snow Summit day-use bike-park ticket, or Scenic Sky Chair ticket. Snow Summit is a purpose-built lift-served gravity venue in Big Bear Lake, roughly a Southern California mountain day trip from Los Angeles and Orange County.
