About this event

Snow Summit closes its two-part 2026 Summit Series with an all-ages Best Whip mountain-bike competition built around style, amplitude, creativity, and how far riders can send a bike sideways. Summit Bike Park staff host free, on-site-only rider registration on Saturday, October 3; there is no advance entry form and the official page explicitly says riders should sign up on the day. The 10:00 AM–4:00 PM program also advertises live entertainment, cash prizes, and in-person viewing for guests using a valid 2026 bike-park season pass, a day-use Snow Summit bike-park ticket, or a Scenic Sky Chair ticket. The detailed check-in, practice, division, judging, run-order, and awards timetable is still pending, so those items are not inferred. Snow Summit is a purpose-built lift-served gravity venue roughly a Southern California mountain day trip from Los Angeles and Orange County; comparable high-consequence jump terrain is unavailable in the urban core, making this Big Bear event regionally LA-relevant.

Who can enter

The organizer invites riders of all ages. No invitation, qualification, racing license, residency restriction, gender restriction, or published division structure appears on the official event page. Because this is a high-amplitude jump competition, riders should be able to safely inspect, approach, jump, and land the featured terrain within the Mountain Biker’s Responsibility Code.
