About this event

The 20th Super Girl Surf Festival filled Oceanside Pier and its beachfront village August 21–23, 2026 with women’s surfing, skateboarding, aggressive inline and quad skating, public roller skating, clinics, music and community programming. Oceanside is about 85 miles south of central Los Angeles and is included as a major Southern California ocean-and-purpose-built action-sports festival with direct rider and spectator value for the LA region. The event’s headline competition was the women’s WSL Qualifying Series 4,000: 14-year-old Ruby Stringfellow defeated Mia McLeish 11.67–11.46 to become the youngest champion in event history, with Eden Walla and Eweleiula Wong reaching the semifinals. A 64-athlete Open Women’s Longboard field competed for a $5,000 purse through the Super Girl Quest for the Cape series, although LiveHeats still does not display final placings. The beachfront 32-foot mini-ramp hosted women’s inline and quad events on Saturday with a published $3,000 pool, plus women’s skateboarding on Sunday across Beginner, Intermediate and Pro divisions, five age groups, and a published $5,000 pool. The festival also offered Friday skate-and-inline practice and a free daily pop-up roller rink. General festival and action-sports spectating were free and did not require registration; concert-amphitheater access had separate historical registration and capacity rules. Athlete registration is closed because the event is complete. Two still-rendering Fillout forms are preserved only as historical evidence and are not presented as active entry. No official skateboard, inline, quad or longboard final placings were found, so only the verified WSL results are summarized. Full Saturday and Sunday broadcasts plus WSL finals highlights remain available.
