About this event

The 2026 USA BMX Freestyle / Monster Army Recon Tour made its third stop at The Dreamyard, BMX icon Pat Casey's legendary private backyard ramp compound in Riverside, California, on Saturday, June 20, 2026. Sitting in the Inland Empire roughly 60 miles east of central Los Angeles, it was the tour's only Southern California round and is the first BMX freestyle (rather than BMX racing) contest in TrickBook's Los Angeles event inventory. Unlike the tour's other stops — which pair a Saturday Monster Army Recon Series with a Sunday USA BMX National Series at public bike parks — the official 2026 series announcement designates the Dreamyard round as a private, athlete-only, residential Saturday-only Monster Army Recon Tour event that did not run the Sunday national and did not award USA BMX year-end national ranking points. Competition ran as a UCI Class C1 event for Elite Men and Elite Women alongside the tour's developmental Recon classes. In the Elite Men final, Monster Energy's Bryce Tryon won with 94.06, ahead of Britain's Miller Temple (88.52) and 17-year-old Jake Rutkowitz (86.72). In Elite Women, reigning world No. 1 Hannah Roberts topped the podium with 88.42 over Australia's 16-year-old Alirah Norris (86.32) and Saige Thunstrom (70.18). Because the Dreamyard is a private residence, there was no published public spectator admission, ticketing, parking, or on-site registration; participation was limited to invited and registered tour athletes, and the round's value for the wider audience is in the published results, podium photos, and Recon Tour highlight coverage. Exact daily run and finals times, the full class-by-class results beyond the Elite finals, the prize purse, and the venue's precise private address are not publicly disclosed.
