Salt Life WSA Championship Tour Stop #5 — T-Street San Clemente 2026
About this event
Western Surfing Association Stop #5 brings the 2026–27 Salt Life WSA Championship Tour to T-Street Beach in San Clemente on December 5–6. The Orange County venue is about 65 miles south of central Los Angeles and is directly relevant to LA-area competitors and spectators as a public-beach stop on the West Coast amateur pathway. The event is open to anyone who buys current WSA membership, pays the entry fee, signs the liability waiver, and meets a listed division; it is not invitation-only. The live SurfSignup page currently offers 34 shortboard, longboard, Micro Grom push-in, waveski, and para-surfing divisions from age six-and-under through open and 50+ categories, priced at $90 or $100 per division. Advance online registration closes Wednesday, December 2 at 11:59 PM Pacific. WSA has not published same-day entry, remaining capacity, a waitlist, or processing fees, so beach registration should not be assumed. Division age is determined as of January 1, 2027 and proof of age is required. Competitors must check in with the beach marshal 15 minutes before their heat once the draw is posted. The organizer has confirmed a 6:00 AM–6:00 PM window on both days but has not yet released heat draws, division-day assignments, practice windows, finals, awards, water conditions, or an event-specific parking and accessibility plan. The established arrival anchor is T-Street Beach at 399 Esplanade; City sources list stairs, concessions, a fire ring, metered parking, and restrooms, but do not list ADA access at T-Street. Spectators do not have an announced WSA admission charge, but the active contest area and lifeguard directions must be respected.
