Salt Life WSA Championship Tour Stop #8 — Oceanside South Jetty 2027

Western Surfing Association Stop #8 brings the 2026–27 Salt Life WSA Championship Tour presented by Got Milk? to the Oceanside Harbor South Jetty for two full competition days. The amateur contest is open to anyone who buys current WSA membership, pays the event entry fee, signs the liability waiver, and meets the selected division rules; it is not invitation-only. The live SurfSignup page currently lists 34 shortboard, longboard, Micro Grom push-in, waveski, and para-surfing divisions from Mini Groms age six-and-under through Open, Legends 50+, and Senior Longboard categories, priced at $90 or $100 per division. Registration closes Wednesday, March 10, 2027 at 11:59 PM Pacific. WSA has not announced day-of entry, capacity, or a waitlist, so competitors should not count on beach registration. WSA rules use age as of January 1, 2027 for this season and require proof of age. Competitors must check in with the beach marshal before their heat; an unclaimed slot can pass to an alternate, with no refund for a missed heat. The current listing confirms only the two daily 6:00 AM–6:00 PM windows and does not publish the exact peak, beach-marshal location, heat draw, division-day assignments, or awards timing. Oceanside Harbor South Jetty is the southernmost stop on this Southern California amateur tour — a public San Diego County beach at the south side of Oceanside Harbor, roughly 85 miles south of central Los Angeles and part of the same LA-area WSA Championship pathway that also runs at Huntington Beach, Dana Point, and San Onofre.
