About this event

Quick n’ Dirty MTB closes its 2026 calendar with the Dirty 30 at Lake Hodges on Saturday, December 5. Mountain-bike and drop-bar riders take on one 34-mile lap combining hard-packed gravel, rolling fire roads, punchy climbs and technical singletrack along the lake’s north shore, with approximately 1,850 feet of climbing. The organizer specifically names Raptor Ridge and Highland Valley Trail as connecting areas that may form part of the final route and says Hammer Nutrition plus other supplies will be available at aid stations; the exact course file, aid-station positions and cutoff remain unpublished. Check-in and course pre-riding open at 7:30 AM PST, and racing starts at 9:00 AM. The field is presented for men and women on mountain bikes or drop-bar bikes, with age bands 16–17, 18–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59 and 60+, plus Single Speed 16+ and Big Boned (200+) 16+ classes. The page does not spell out whether every special class is split by gender, so no extra split is inferred. All classes are listed at $100, increasing to $110 on December 4. The organizer says online registration will remain available until the race starts, but its current 2026 page does not expose a checkout; an older BikeReg slug resolves to a completed prior event and is intentionally not offered as active. Registration is therefore marked not yet open rather than closed. Quick n’ Dirty’s standing rules require helmets, prohibit headphones and shortcuts, and use an unobstructed front RFID number plate for scoring. Entries are final and nonrefundable. The event is a regional Los Angeles-area exception: Lake Hodges is roughly 110 road miles south of central Los Angeles and supplies the extended mixed-surface trail network and permitted endurance-race setting unavailable in the urban core. Spectator access, participant capacity, waiver and guardian rules, parking fees, accessibility accommodations, weather thresholds, race waves, awards, livestream and a finish time have not been published and should be confirmed before travel.
